Where career prep & financial literacy meets sisterhood.
Empowering first-generation college women and recent graduates for a brighter future through career mentorship and financial literacy.
MISSION
The mission of Girls That Can is to empower first generation college women and recent graduates to achieve their career goals in Business, Law or Healthcare, with an emphasis on financial freedom, and sisterhood.
Inspired by my own background and trajectory, Girls That Can aims to prove that financial independence doesn’t only begin as an adult and that career preparation doesn’t end once you graduate college— that is just the beginning.
Through personalized career coaching, events, 1:1 mentoring and financial literacy education, young women and I work together to ensure they achieve a clear a sense of direction in their careers and healthy financial habits.

Career Mentoring
Too often, first-generation and/or low income college students miss out on career defining opportunities like internship placement and mentoring due to financial demands or lack of exposure.
At Girls That Can we provide students and recent graduates with a diverse range of career advancement opportunities which include internship stipends, 1:1 mentor match, networking events and career panels with leading industry experts.
Black and Brown students are less likely to receive financial education even though there is a direct correlation between financial literacy, wealth and freedom.
Girls That Can aims to instill healthy financial habits through proper education on earning, spending, saving and investing in an effort to close the wealth gap.
